Mark A. Dean, Registered Architect and principal owner of Dean Architects graduated in 1990 with a Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of Buffalo.
After graduating, Mr. Dean worked for Hibbard Engineers in Niagara Falls, NY where he specialized in architectural design for industrial plants throughout Niagara Falls, Western New York and Rochester.
In 1994, Mark successfully completed the architectural exam to become a licensed architect in New York State.
In October of that same year, he established his own local architectural firm.
In 1998 Mark added a partner to his firm, which was then named DeanSutton Architects.
The partnership was dissolved in 2012 and Dean Architects, PLLC was born.
In 2010 Mark married Patti (Cecala) and together they have three children one grandson and twins on the way.
In 2015 Mark received his LEED Green Certification and began designing plans for a new LEED Green home for his family in Alden.
The home, a one-story, slab-on-grade, very modern home is equipped with solar panels, energy efficient windows, doors and appliances, closed cell insulation and LED light fixtures and bulbs.
In his spare time, Mark likes to tinker with his 1946 Chevy truck and play with his three dogs.
